Every new morning

It felt like any other spring morning—until the sun rose over Jerusalem’s gilded rooftops and, unbeknownst to most, reality itself shifted. Farmers in Galilee felt a strange warmth in their fields. Roman centurions on guard that dawn described tremors underfoot that baffled even hardened soldiers.

When word of the empty tomb finally rippled through marketplaces and synagogues, conversations froze, and hearts leapt with conviction: death’s finality was undone. Everything—routines, power structures, fears, hopes, open to new possibilities. Creation itself had heard its King declare “It is finished” (John 19:30) and the world would never be the same.

Resurrection isn’t just a one-time event—it’s the source of ongoing power for every believer’s daily walk. As Paul declares:

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God…”

– Galatians 2:20 ESV

This verse tells us that the same life that burst from the grave now pulses within us. No longer are slaves to sin’s patterns, we can stand firm in trials, choose holiness over habit, and press on in hope even when circumstances discourage.

“…that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.”

– Philippians 3:10 ESV

Here Paul grips the heart of the power we find in the Lord’s resurrection, which leads us to live and know Christ intimately, experiencing His risen power, and embracing whatever hardships come our way. Because He lives, we can face each day with confidence—sin’s tyranny is broken, fear loses its grip, and service flows from strength rather than obligation.

As ambassadors of Jesus, we don’t rely on our own resolve or fleeting motivation. Instead, we tap into God’s power through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Every choice to forgive when it’s hard, every step of obedience in uncertainty, and every act of kindness in a weary world is fueled by the same mighty energy that rolled away the stone.

The empty tomb didn’t just rewrite history; rewrote every heart that has trusted Him as their Savior and Lord.

Paul proclaims:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

– 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

This radical renewal applies just as much to a first-century Roman jailer startled by an earthquake as it does to our neighbors that deal with the pressures of their daily jobs’ s and school drop-offs. Because Christ lives, forgiveness triumphs over guilt, courage defeats despair, and purpose replaces emptiness.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”

– Romans 1:16 ESV

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.”

– 2 Corinthians 5:20 ESV

As ambassadors of Jesus, we carry His message of reconciliation into jobs, studies, social feeds, and the Church Meetings. Every act of kindness, every shared testimony, every invitation to worship becomes a living proclamation that death has lost its sting.

Each sunrise reminds us that the grave could not hold our King, and every heartbeat echoes the promise of new life. As ambassadors of Jesus, we aren’t simply sharing information—We are the messengers of the hope for the lost world. So let your mornings begin with the joy of resurrection, let your conversations reflect the power of His victory, and let your life stand as a bold invitation: Jesus is alive, and through Him, we too are alive—and charged with the thrilling privilege of representing Him everywhere we go, every new morning.
